96.3 WDVD Cares for Kids Radiothon presented by Diversified Members Credit Union will celebrate its 10th year raising funds for sick and injured kids treated at Beaumont Children’s. A Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals event, the radiothon will broadcast live from the South Tower Concourse of Beaumont Hospital, Royal Oak on Thursday, Nov. 17 from 6 a.m. until 7 p.m. Anchoring the presentation will be Detroit radio veteran, Blaine Fowler from the Blaine Fowler Morning Show, alongside the entire 96.3 WDVD air staff.
Each year, the 96.3 WDVD Cares for Kids Radiothon highlights the stories of local patients and families treated at Beaumont Children’s Hospital. These stories presented by Credit Union ONE, will include kids like Stella and Lillian who survived despite being born at 1 pound 8 ounces, Ali whose rare bone disorder forced her to undergo emergency spinal surgery; and Sara who is now thriving despite complete respiratory failure and the loss of function in her body from the neck down.
Radiothon listeners can become Miracle Makers with a $20 monthly donation. This donation can be made automatically by credit card or through a monthly invoice to pay by check. For the same cost as a trip to the movies, purchasing an album on iTunes or a few cups of coffee at Starbucks, listeners can help save a child’s life by calling 800-963-GIVE (4483) or by donating online.
