For every free short stack of buttermilk pancakes served on National Pancake Day from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., IHOP guests are invited to make a voluntary donation to Beaumont Children’s to celebrate a “Decade of Giving.” Since 2006, IHOP National Pancake Day has raised nearly $20 million to provide lifesaving treatment, programs and medical equipment for children - including the 100,000 children treated annually at Beaumont Children’s.
"We are extremely grateful to IHOP and its patrons for their generous support of Beaumont Children's,” Brian Berman, M.D., Beaumont Children’s pediatrician-in-chief, said. “These donations provide comfort and compassionate care to the many children and families who we serve."
There are 12 participating locations in the area, including Bloomfield Hills, Brighton, Dearborn Heights, Detroit, Livonia, Monroe, Novi, Roseville, Royal Oak, Sterling Heights, Woodhaven and Ypsilanti.
