Beaumont Hospitals in Royal Oak and Troy winners of NRC’s Consumer Loyalty Awards
NRC Health has announced winners of their 2019 Consumer Loyalty Awards. Their “Top 100” includes Beaumont Hospital, Royal Oak and Beaumont Hospital, Troy. To be included in the list, organizations had to achieve an extraordinary high score on the NRC Health Loyalty Index – a single trackable metric and benchmark of health care consumer loyalty. The metric, a composite of seven different critical aspects of loyalty, recognizes top performers in the health care industry.
Rollinger recipient of MOA’s Women of Excellence Award
Dr. Kathleen Rollinger, who specializes in family medicine and obstetrics at Beaumont Hospital, Grosse Pointe, was recognized with the 2019-20 Women of Excellence Award by the Michigan Osteopathic Association. The annual award is given to a female osteopathic physician who has provided exemplary leadership in the field of medicine.
AHA honors Beaumont, Grosse Pointe stroke program
Beaumont Hospital, Grosse Pointe’s stroke team has received the American Heart Association/American Stroke Association’s Get With The Guidelines Target: Stroke Honor Roll Gold Plus Quality Achievement Award. The award recognizes the hospital’s commitment to ensuring stroke patients receive the most appropriate treatment according to nationally recognized, research-based guidelines. Beaumont, Grosse Pointe earned the award by meeting specific quality achievement measures for the diagnosis and treatment of stroke patients.
Yedavally-Yellayi named Michigan Family Medicine Educator of the Year
The Michigan Academy of Family Physicians has recognized Dr. Srikala Yedavally-Yellayi, affiliated with Beaumont Hospital, Grosse Pointe and Troy, as the Michigan Family Medicine Educator of the Year. In addition to serving as director of the Beaumont, Troy Osteopathic Department of Medical Education Program, she is an assistant professor with Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine; and also a Global Health director and Clerkship director for Family Medicine Undergraduate Medical Education. The MAFP presents the award each year to an individual who has made outstanding contributions to family medicine undergraduate, graduate and continuing education in Michigan.
Beaumont Health winner of a Crain’s Excellence in HR Award
Beaumont’s Human Resources team has been recognized by Crain’s Detroit Business with an Excellence in HR Award. They were named winner for “Finding and Growing Talent” and honored for their “recruiting and development efforts which have decreased turnover and strengthened its employees.” Aaron Gillingham, senior vice president and chief human resources officer told Crain’s, “With the unemployment rate in this local area of under 3%, we’ve got to make sure that we’re growing and investing in our talent because the labor market is so tight. We want to be an employer of choice and offer great opportunities for our employees.”
