Post-Radiation Therapy Care

About two weeks after your first treatment you may begin to notice side effects or symptoms caused by radiation therapy. These symptoms may continue throughout the treatment period. They will gradually decrease after your treatment ends. Your doctor or nurse will discuss with you which symptoms you are likely to experience and how long they will last. It is important that you follow instructions to optimize your comfort.
