Women's Urology Center

Beaumont’s Women’s Urology Center offers extensive female urology care for a number of conditions including bladder dysfunction, pelvic painpelvic floor dysfunctioninterstitial cystitis and sexual dysfunction.

When you choose the Women’s Urology Center, you will be seen by experts who offer innovative treatments including specialized physical therapy and advanced, minimally invasive procedures. Our board-certified, fellowship-trained physicians, certified women’s health nurse practitioner, and certified nurse midwife work to ensure you are comfortable and well taken care of.

At the Women’s Urology Center at Beaumont, you can expect:

Group Yoga Therapy Class

Through yoga, women become more aware of, and have more control over, the muscles that support the bladder and other pelvic organs. Research shows that incontinence decreased 70% in patients participating in yoga therapy compared to 13% in patients not participating in the program. Group Yoga is offered for a drop in rate of $10 per class, Thursdays 5:30 - 6:30 p.m. Class size is limited.

Women's Coping Support Group

The Women Coping Pelvic Pain Support Group helps women with pelvic pain get the support of others with similar problems, and encourages participants to take active, positive steps toward coping. For women with interstitial cystitis, vulvar pain and other uro-genital pain problems. Meets from 6:30 - 8 p.m. the second Thursday of every month. No registration necessary.
