Medical Director of Integrative Medicine - Dr. Maureen Anderson
Dr. Anderson has been with Beaumont for many years as an Emergency Center physician at Troy, as well as holding medical administration positions at Beaumont and Henry Ford. She is board-certified by the American Board of Integrative and Holistic Medicine, with additional education in Functional Medicine.
She will offer patients Integrative Medicine M.D. consults at Royal Oak. These appointments will focus on finding the root cause of health concerns, and partnering with patients and their primary care providers to determine how best to support the journey to health and wholeness. This includes a comprehensive history and physical exam.
Dr. Anderson will also have medical oversight for more than 50 practitioners, including all specialties: acupuncture, clinical massage, naturopathic medicine, reiki and guided imagery.
Associate Medical Director of Integrative Medicine - Dr. Katherine Nori Janosz
Dr. Nori is an Internal Medicine physician and has practiced within the Beaumont for almost 20 years. Prior to joining Integrative Medicine, she was the program developer and director of Beaumont‘s Nutritional Health Program at the Weight Control Center. She is board-certified in Internal Medicine, Obesity Medicine, Integrative and Holistic Medicine, with additional training in Nutritional Medicine.
She has authored and co-authored several medical research articles and book chapters. She is actively involved in a number of research projects and has served as the principal investigator and sub-investigator on several multi-center medical research trials. She enjoys working with medical students and residents and is an Associate Professor at Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine, as well as a Fellow of the American College of Physicians.
Dr. Nori offers her patients Integrative Medicine MD consults at Troy Beaumont Integrative Medicine offices. These appointments will focus on nutritional balance and behavior modification to optimize overall health.
