Social Work services are available throughout the organization; dedicated social work departments are housed throughout the system. Throughout the continuum of care, social workers assist patients and families with multiple issues, such as: adjustment
to illness, counseling to cope with grief and loss, access to resources, support groups, and psychiatric intervention.
