Second Beaumont Urgent Care opens in Warren
With the COVID-19 pandemic and Gov. Whitmer’s “Stay Home, Stay Safe” order, Beaumont Urgent Care is now offering virtual urgent care visits. This new service provides access to care and the ability to see a Beaumont provider from the comfort of home.
A Beaumont virtual urgent care visit allows immediate access through a live video chat using a phone, tablet, or camera-enabled computer, seven days a week, 365 days a year.
Virtual visits can be used to diagnose and treat a variety of nonemergency medical conditions and even send a prescription to a patient’s local pharmacy. Virtual visits aren’t meant to replace a primary care provider, but is a good option for some issues. Some of the symptoms and conditions which can treated with a virtual visit, include cold, cough, flu, sore throat, sinus infections, rash, sprains, allergies, vomiting, fevers and headaches.
In addition, Beaumont Urgent Care is now offering drive-thru evaluation and testing (including antibody testing) for COVID-19 at select locations and by appointment. COVID-19 testing is only available for those that have been evaluated through our virtual visit platform (or curbside) and meet testing criteria.
Beaumont Urgent Care accepts most insurances as well as self-pay options.

Beaumont Urgent Care has opened a second location in Warren at 28550 Schoenherr Road. The newest location on Schoenherr Road can be reached at 586-480-1685 and is open seven-days-a-week, including holidays. Regular business hours are from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
The first Beaumont Urgent Care in Warren opened Jan.10 at 28284 Dequindre Road. Because of the pandemic, this location is temporarily closed.
The new Schoenherr Road site allow patients to access providers and facilities in the Beaumont Network quickly for minor injuries and illnesses at a reduced cost compared to a more expensive emergency room visit. For fast, efficient care, services like an in-house lab, X-ray and fiberglass splinting are also available.
“Beaumont is working with WellStreet, a company experienced with running patient-focused urgent cares. We are eager to serve area patients and families by providing quality care on their terms, with easy access at lower cost,” Dr. Bernice Sessa, medical director of Beaumont Urgent Care, said.
