On September 12th, the Grosse Pointe Classic successfully raised funds to benefit the renovation and expansion of surgical services at Beaumont, Grosse Pointe. Approximately 130 guests attended with many golfing the beautiful championship course designed
by Harry S. Colt. After a day on the course, guests enjoyed a cocktail reception with a program focused on sharing how the funds raised will help the community, and closed out the evening with a strolling dinner.
Members of the honorary committee were recognized for their leadership and support that has helped to make the Grosse Pointe Classic a success over the years.

Founded in 1983 by a group of Beaumont’s closest friends, this annual golf outing has raised more than $4 million for important programs supporting the health of our community including: emergency medicine, critical care, diagnostic imaging, orthopedic
medicine and the cardiac catherization laboratory.
