Diagnostic neuroradiology is a subspecialty of Beaumont's Department
of Diagnostic Radiology that is devoted to the imaging of the head,
neck, brain and spine. The diagnostic neuroradiology service provides
consultation services for imaging disorders of the central nervous
system.
Diagnostic neuroradiological procedures performed include imaging
techniques such as magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), CT scan, spinal
taps and myelography. Diagnostic procedures such as biopsies,
discograms, and minor interventional procedures (facet and epidural pain
management) are performed as well.
