Corewell Health is the new name for Beaumont.
Our Clinic was first established at Lincoln Elementary School with our satellite Clinic in Jefferson-Barns Elementary School at a later date. With the recent closing of both elementary schools the Clinic has relocated to Adams Upper Elementary School.
Thanks to generous philanthropic support through the Corewell Foundation and the Wayne-Westland School District, the Clinic is a true Corewell success story with great potential to provide comprehensive healthcare to children who are in need.
Adams Upper Elementary School is located in a neighborhood where many residents face challenges such as transportation and lack of insurance that often prevent them from receiving services they need.
The on-site nurse practitioners provide services such as: physical examinations for school, sports or camp, immunizations, basic lab services, vision and hearing screenings. A psychiatrist and social worker provide mental health and counseling services.
All services at the clinic are confidential and fees are based on income. No one is turned away due to inability to pay. Parental consent is required except in cases of emergency care and crisis intervention. The clinic is truly making a difference in the lives of many members of the community.
Clinic serves pediatric patients age 3 years - 19 years old.
