Learn about wellness at 'Walk with a Doc' July 21

Beaumont Hospital, Farmington Hills welcomes all to attend its free “Walk with a Doc” program from noon to 1 p.m. on Thursday, July 21. The subject for the July walk is “Integrative Health: Focusing on Wellness.” Internal medicine physician Dr. Patricia Schmidt will discuss treating the whole person, focusing on wellness and health rather than on treating disease, and emphasizing the patient-physician relationship.

Walk with a Doc will be held at the Heritage Park Nature Center in Farmington Hills. The park is on the west side of Farmington Road between 10 and 11 Mile Roads. The event will be held rain or shine.
