Beaumont Health’s kidney transplantation team will present a pre-kidney transplant community education program on Tuesday, May 16 at Beaumont Hospital, Farmington Hills. The 7 p.m. program is for those considering a kidney transplant. Family, friends, potential donors and health care professionals are also welcome.
The two-hour program will take place in the Colen Auditorium located in the Administration and Education Building on the campus of Beaumont Hospital, 28050 Grand River, Farmington Hills.

Dilip Samarapungavan, M.D., transplant nephrologist and medical director, Multi-Organ Transplantation, Beaumont Health, will review the transplant process, necessary medications and the long-term outlook for kidney transplants. Transplant recipients and a living donor will share their experiences.
