Shoichet awarded Lifetime Achievement Award by American College of Physicians
Sandor Shoichet, M.D., director, Internal Medicine Residency Program, Beaumont Hospital, Royal Oak, has been awarded a Lifetime Achievement Award by the American College of Physicians.
Tyler presented MHA’s ‘Speak-up! Award’
The Michigan Health & Hospital Association presented Kristi Tyler, a housekeeper at Beaumont Hospital, Taylor, with the MHA Keystone Center Speak-up! Award. The award recognizes individuals or teams who demonstrate a commitment to protecting patient or staff safety.
Dukatz recognized by American Association of Nurse Anesthetists
Tamra Dukatz, MSN, CRNA, nurse anesthetist, Beaumont Hospital, Royal Oak, was awarded the John F. Garde Researcher of the Year award by the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists for her significant contribution to the practice of anesthesia through clinical research.
Rosenbaum recipient of ACP’s Great Internist of Michigan AwardLewis Rosenbaum, M.D., a rheumatologist at Beaumont Hospital, Royal Oak, was presented the “Great Internist of Michigan Award” by the American College of Physicians.
Susick named chapter president for American College of Healthcare Executives
Nancy Susick, MSN, president, Beaumont Hospital, Troy, was recently inducted as the president of the Midwest Chapter of the American College of Healthcare Executives.
Davila recognized with Governor’s Award by ACP
Francisco Davila, M.D., internal medicine, Beaumont Hospital, Royal Oak was recognized with the Raymond H. Murray, M.D. Governor’s Award by the American College of Physicians.
Husek receives MHA’s Michigan Green Healthcare Hometown Hero Award
Maureen Husek, director, Nutrition and Retail Services, Beaumont Hospital, Royal Oak, was the recipient of the Michigan Health & Hospital Association’s “2016 Michigan Green Healthcare Hometown Hero Award” during the Michigan Green Healthcare Conference in Kalamazoo.
Two hospitals awarded prestigious ‘Guardian of Excellence’ award
The Beaumont Hospitals in Royal Oak and Trenton received the “Guardian of Excellence” awards by Press Ganey, the leading patient experience company in health care. This recognition is received by fewer than 100 hospitals across the country and recognizes health care teams for consistent, high-level patient experiences. Beaumont, Royal Oak was recognized for the outstanding work of its transplant team and Beaumont, Trenton was acknowledged for excellence in patient experience in ambulatory surgery.
