In addition to the team outlined above, a multidisciplinary team that may include specialists such as cardiologists, vascular surgeons, hematologists, and interventional neuroradiologists help manage patients post-stroke with an emphasis on determining the possible cause of each patient’s stroke and prevention of future stroke.
